Meetings and Events

The Austin Civil War Roundtable hosts a wide range of activities throughout the year, providing members with opportunities to learn from experts, engage in discussions, and explore Civil War history. Our regular monthly meetings, held from September through June, feature distinguished guest speakers who present on various Civil War topics—from key battles and political figures to cultural aspects of the era.

- Monthly Meetings: 

  Held on the **3rd Thursday of each month at Chez Zee American Bistro from September to November. In the spring of 2025, meetings will transition to the Zoom platform, allowing us to reach a broader audience. These meetings include lively Q&A sessions and are a great way to meet fellow history enthusiasts. 

- Special Events:  

  Occasionally, we host special events such as book signings, holiday gatherings, and lectures by renowned Civil War historians. Keep an eye on our events calendar for these special opportunities.

- Annual Holiday Get-Together:  

  In December, we bring our members together for a Christmas celebration, offering a chance to socialize in a more relaxed setting while honoring our shared interest in Civil War history.
