Field Trips and Tours

The Austin Civil War Roundtable  regularly organizes educational tours and field trips to historic Civil War sites, museums, and battlefields, offering our members and guests an immersive way to explore Civil War history firsthand. These events provide unique opportunities to deepen our understanding of key events and figures from the war through guided tours, expert insights, and group discussions.

Although we currently don't have any upcoming tours or field trips scheduled, we have previously visited notable sites, including:

- Gettysburg National Military Park

- Vicksburg National Military Park

- Shiloh Battlefield

- Texas Civil War Museum

- The Alamo and its Civil War History
